A mascot for FNB's large customer division for internal use, comissioned by their advertising agency.

Brief

As you can see from the character development sketches in the background, it was very open. There was the request to try a unicorn, but otherwise I should try a whole bunch of stuff... the "how do we know what we want until we see it" approach.

The final style had to be printable at any size, useful in emails and possibly be animated in the future.

(I prefered the idea of a lion... big, powerful, regal and very African. I thought the unicorn was a bit too Eurocentric in the mythology, but when the agency has made their sales pitch, there's no changing anyone's minds. sigh...)
