In the world of graphic design and illustration, most requests for a price is followed up by a the counter question: "How long is a piece of string?" or "I need a complete brief to quote you properly." These are both true and, therefor, valid responses, but they don't help you out. Not even with a ball park figure so you know if it's a job you can pursue or not.
Every job is different so it stands to reason that every job will have a different price. Apart from getting a clear or muddy brief, there's the issue of familiarity. We have some clients who we have worked with for many years who I know very well. I can deliver my design or illustration with a few hours work and it's exactly what they want. A stranger is very different. We need to learn how each other think, communicate and expect from the other party. For instance, my mental image of "funky" design is probably different to yours. This very example happened to me not too long ago. When I presented a "funky looking" website that would perfectly at home on the cover of a Lady Gagga album, it finally came out that client's concept of funky was better described as "bright & cheerful".
I also sit with the potential of a quote being totally off, in either direction, for example: If I quote you for a logo design expecting 50 hours of work and you sign-off the first logo I present, should I invoice 50 hours? Conversely, If I quote 10 hours and you're still changing your mind and giving changes 6 months later, is it fair to Impasto to invoice for one day and a bit (10 hours)?
I do need a brief. I probably also need to meet with you and chat further to get to know you a bit to be able to really put an accurate quote together, so please do contact me. I'm not a lawyer waiting to invoice you for every minute of mine you consume.
However, since you're browsing my website, you probably do want some idea of costs, so here are a few packages. They are special offers, so understand that to keep these prices, I call the shots and will need to be firm with you. If you are planning on dilly-dallying around, not make decisions, being slow to supply necessary content etc, then ask me for a quote so I can bill by the hour.
Obviously, all these bundled offers below are merely based on the most popular and common requests. When a start-up company wants a logo, these are the most commonly needed items. When a company wants a website, they usually have no clue what it needs to do which is why Impasto offers a cheap, template option to get them going and a year or two later it gets overhauled when they know they want monthly newsletters or their entire 200 page catalogue online.
With this mind, please don't hesitate to contact us for any quotes for any of the services listed on out Services Page we are so much, much more than a logo and and a few templates.

Don't look down on a single page site it has a lot of value. Very often, clients don't have much to put in a website, so instead of faking it and spreading it out over as many pages as possible, we put it all on one page which will make it rank much higher in Google's searches. Afterall, Google ranks pages on their content, not sites on their number of [empty] pages.
